The following master's thesis aims to integrate art therapy into the Austrian school system. Through a research approach that combines literature analysis with interviews, the study seeks to provide insights into the essence of art therapy, its objectives, and its general framework. A particular gymnasium serves as a case study, showcasing qualitative research and practical examples to explore the feasibility and value of incorporating art therapy into art education. The case study is documented through an explorer's diary and subjected to analysis using grounded theory. Through these case studies, we delve into the intricate reflections and detailed outcomes of our research.
